The View From Our Patio

22 Apr

These days, this is often the view from our patio.  Although, I’d be lying if I said I got to view it from our patio all that often.  Because the pleas for “play with me, Mommy” or “your turn, Mommy!” come loudly and often.

As soon as we pull into the driveway after school/work, he starts pleading to play baseball.  We got him the tee ball set for Easter and I can hardly believe how quickly he mastered the various steps — holding the bat in two hands, swinging at the ball and not the tee, shouting ‘go get it, Mommy’ after he whizzes the ball three feet in front of the tee.

Of course, there isn’t anyone else that could get me swinging a bat, running and fetching a ball, or even dragging a tee ball set out of the garage while six and a half months pregnant. TeeBall2
