Happy Daddy to you!

Or… as the over two year old crowd say, “happy birthday to Tim”

Luke loved singing to Tim – and would periodically break into song throughout the afternoon.  And, once he realized that birthday meant cake, well then it was really an even more enthusiastic rendering of “Happy Daddy To You!”

I found the candles in the back of our cabinets — they are likely decades old and certainly far from today’s safety standards.  I’d like to think that the sparking and stubborn re-lighting while sending spare flames sideways just added a little flair to the Peanut Butter Brownie Ice Cream cake!

This was the second time he’s had cake — this go round was quite the departure from his first birthday where he drummed the cake and then cried his eyes out.
