Autumnal Activities

5 Oct

We took our annual jaunt to see the scarecrows at Peddler’s Village.  Luke was less interested in the scarecrows and particularly impressed with the pumpkins.  I’m fairly sure he touched almost every pumpkin in Peddler’s Village — which. is. a. lot. of. “punkin!”

And, as a side effect of being pumpkin possessed, he isn’t looking at the camera in any of my pictures.  He was on high alert for the next “punkin!” opportunity.  For example…

In each of these pictures, he’s probably shouting “Punkin!  Over dare.”

His other favorite part was the quantity of benches available for  climbing.  He likes to climb up by himself, instruct us to sit down next to him, promptly get off the bench and then try to pull us up from our sitting position.  This is most satisfying if the parent getting hefted up gives a big groan as they stand up.  I’m sure we attracted a few side eye glances from other Peddler’s patrons.
