Gardening with Daddy

22 May

Our bushes were recently sending us messages that they needed to be trimmed.  Those suckers grew three feet and started infiltrating our path to the door.  Tim decided it was time for some weekend gardening and that my method of ignoring them was no longer appropriate.  Apparently, the battle to open the front door amidst the burning bush branches wasn’t “cute” any longer when leaves, snapped branches and other miscellaneous foliage started to grace the inside of our house.

Luke was skeptical.

Till he realized that there was a perfectly appropriate, Lucas-sized, hiding place back there.

The rake proved too tempting to ignore.

And the mud… well, the mud was everywhere.

Those shoes still haven’t recovered.

Encourage the use of the rake, snow shovel, lawn mower etc at an early age:) (OK, maybe not the lawn mower)
