9 May

This morning, while getting ready for work, Luke is standing next to the window watching our neighbors head out for work.  As each car drives by, he announces “Car!” and then “Bye Bye!”

Around 8am, the trickle of cars slowed and the whining increased.  With the curtain pulled over his head, he turned back to me and said “more, please.” When I told him I couldn’t control the number of cars driving by, he insisted “more, more, more.”  My insistent head shake of no resulted in many, many tears and pleading of “please.”
