A Maryland Boy

17 Aug

When we first moved into this house, my mom promptly planted Black Eyed Susans in our front garden.  She is a firm believer than any Maryland girl should have them.  And although Luke will never live in Maryland, he’ll still have roots as a Maryland boy, supposing I do my job right.

Please note the Maryland blue crabs featured on Luke’s creeper, it’s only appropriate.

That said, we took the Maryland boy home last weekend on a two day adventure to visit Nan and Pops.  Luke was able to practice and perfect his crawling skills there.  Tim was introduced to the word “hassock” which quickly became the word of the weekend as Luke fixated on them for pulling up practice.

He visited with extended family, napped little, played much and had a great time tearing through Nan and Pops’ house like a tornado.  Here’s some snaps from the trip.
