After a little more than two years staring out the back window of the car, we used our holiday break to flip little man forward. His first ride was on Christmas Eve, and he seemed quite pleased with the change.
Of course, now that he can see us, he doesn’t mind heckling from the backseat. “You on your phone, Mommy. NO! Talk to me!!” echoes the car anytime I try to subversively check Facebook while Tim is driving. Or, even worse, I demonstrated on the first night when he wouldn’t fall asleep that I can reach back and touch his foot/leg – something impossible when he was facing backwards. So now, anytime he is upset, he clamors, “hold my toe!”

I am glad Elmo could make it for the ride. He looks very pleased with himself.
I didn’t realize that holding someones toe could have calming effects. Will have Steve hold me toe next time I am upset
T- I think the toe hold is a yoga move!!!!!
